16/11/09		Environment		SGS Accredited as Environmental Control Body and Environmental Verification Technical Body for the Extractive Industry SGS in Catalunya achieved accreditation as an Environmental Control Body (EAC) for Generalitat de Catalunya’s Departament de Medi Ambient. This authorizes SGS to perform environmental controls in the extractive industry sector in accordance with Internvenció Integral de l’Administració Ambiental Llei 3/1998, to prevent the exploitation of natural resources.

01/09/09		Industrial		SGS Collaborates in Guadalajara’s Hospital Universitario’s Expansion and Reform Works Servicio de Salud de Castilla La Mancha (SESCAM) has adjudicated SGS the quality control of Guadalajara’s Hospital Universitario’s expansion and reform works. SGS will be manager of the awardee UTE with a participation of 40%, while Applus will have 40% and Proyecta Gestión y Arquitectura Integrales 20%.
